Petplan quoted me £10 a month on the new cocker spaniel puppy (enhanced policy or whatever its called).

£8 on their 'standard' policy. Only thing is having read their terms and conditions, I can't work out what the difference is?

I have had Petplan recommended by the FOA Trust.

Who has had either a good or bad experience with insurance and what company

Argos seems to handle Lin's (almost monthly) claims very well.

You are expected to stump the money up front then claim back though

We pay the first £50 then get anything more back. So if we pay out £150 we get £100 back.

Insurance is a must, from day 1. We had Harry insured before we even got him.
