If you had the option to see your future would you want to? Your own future that is.
Im going with no personally as I would spend to long worrying about it and trying to change/not change things.

I'd like to see the future, maybe about 20 - 30 years but I wouldn't want to see my own.

Yes, although unlike flash forward, it would create a paradox in a sense...
For example, if you were to see in the future you end up dying from a bungee jump - you'd just never do a bungee jump for the rest of your life and you'll avoid the future happening...
The reality is, you could predict the future - in the sense that people will always make the same decisions given the same circumstances.
However, once you have knowledge of the future you will be able to change your decisions.

I'd like to be able to time travel or at least get some good sporting info to bet on but wouldn't want to just see into my own future and only have a glimpse that I couldn't understand or alter.

If you went to the future to get sports results, when you go back the results will change because they're a series of random events, the players wouldn't kick the ball in the exact same manner.
I would like to see the future as it stands tho, maybe not my own death.
Got it sky+'d but haven't watched it yet

thats what i was thinking cavey. the same logic dictates that it would be very dangerous to travel into the future, not to mention impossible.
in theory it would be a lot safer to go back in time but you would have to be careful not to alter anything at all becuase the consequencies could be catastrophic.
in answer to the original question, i would like to have premonitions but nothing more.

I don't see how this would apply unless you intervened.
If you merely time travelled to a point where you were still in your bedroom/front room watching it on telly or getting results from teletext or tinternet and then returned to the present and put a bet on, all should be well.

because the future you travelled to is one of an infinate number of possible futures. therefore seeing sports results in the future would offer no advantage at all.

Apart of me wants to and a part of me doesn't, but I don't think I could do it no.
I would rather change the past, or my past should I say and do the things I regret not doing
