Here is my little project I thought I would share...
I bought the car local, with 67000 on the clock for £750. It needed a new wing, arch, and a few interior bits, but mint for an R reg & it's a 1.6 sport.

I started with a trip to the scrapyard to get all the bits I was missing. just gave it a clean and a good polish etc.

here is the day I bought it

Then I bought a set of alloys off a lad from corsasport. they were black to start with so I gave them a trial fit but wasn't happy with how they suited the car so decided on another colour...

next job was to fit some better mudflaps (came off my old nova) and smoked/bodged the back lights lol.

and to finish off a months work was to spray my alloys white and bolt them on also screwed up a laguna splitter looks 10x better.

Laguna Splitter on, Tigra scuttle panel on, Lowered all round on gmax 60mm shocks & springs, corsa sport stickers Irmscher bages on the rub strips and smoked side repeaters. couple of scenic shots below

Future plans include.

strait through exhaust,
medium smoke tints all round,
colour coding
gsi kit

all in good time though.

yeah simple to fit, if you pull off the standard splitter there is a lip on the bottom of the bumper. I trimmed the inside of the laguna splitter slightly and cut about 30 cm out of the middle (little bits at a time) it was then in 2 bits, then just pushed 1 side under and screwed it from underneath. i had to take out a couple of screws that secures the inner arch, for a better fit. but put these through the splitter and into there existing holes after it was fitted. then same with the otherside. then kept trimming the middle so the join looks better. you can cut it with a strong pair of scissors. or stanley knife.

oh and it was £5 from scrapyard.

hope that helps

update -

done some bits over the weekend to tidy up the front end. fitted a tigra scuttle panel & some flat wipers. Now it seems as I fix one thing, somthing else goes wrong. My exhaust manifold has started blowing, so i'm looking for a 4 branch manifoldand also some old dear reversed into me and knocked my bumper out of place, it was only a very slight tap and i think it has just broke the clip on the wing.
Anyway pics of said mods...

strait through exhaust fitted not too loud, subtle, unless you floor it

next mods i think will be an inlet manifold, tints & wind deflectors, semi smooth boot...

UPDATE.

Decided to clean up the back end of the corsa & sort out all the running issues also changing the gearbox oil and spark plugs, i didn't bother taking pics of the plugs and oil lol.

anyway, decided to go for an opel badge on the boot handle, (bought off a lad on here)

Then, sprayed the boot plastic. Thought it would look better than faded grey!

drying process...

the finished item...

also got a new number plate & debadged the rear. will get a pic up tonight!

Cleaned my car today but, after 2 mile down the road it was covered in grit salt again lol. anyway took a couple of pics whilst waiting for the gf.

not planning on doing much more this winter apart from just keeping it clean.
