Ok let me cut the long story short.

I found a Clio on pistonheads website that I wanted to buy for my second car. I speak to the guy on the phone a few times and I told him I wanted to buy it. We then arranged a time and a place to do the deal and pick it up.

The guy lives in Cumbria and I am based at the moment in Kent. We arrange to meet around half way at the Birmingham NEC at around 5 o clock this afternoon.

Me and my Mum pay from here to Birmingham costing 140 quid and we arrive on time. We phone him asking where he is and he says he will he is on his way and will be two hours(a piss take in intself) so we wait and wait and wait, still nothing, we ring him like a million times to see where the fuck he is and nothing, sod bugger fucking all. Didn't turn up, didn't answer the calls. So then it gets to half 10 and we have the mission all the way home and another 100 odd quid for the train home.

Seriously what the hell should I do, people can't just get away with this. So fucking angry right now it;s untrue

Not much really, just a fucking arse and got to take it on the chin.

Pick cars closer to home, surely there must be a clio more local to you than fucking Cumbria

It was a second car I needed from A to B. Not the point what car it is really.

He lived in Cumbria but arranged in Birmingham, so fucking angry.

And yeah close to home obviously, but everything about this one was what I wanted/needed.

You'd have never got home that far in the Clio anyway. You'd have RAC fees ontop. I think you actually saved money.

My mate did that to someone last week, he had a car for sale and two people were coming to look at the same time.. He didnt want to lose a potential sale so he let them both come but the first guy bought the car so he phoned me and said "if someone shows up looking for me about a car tell them you dont know anything about it"..

The bloke had driven about two hours to see the car poor bastid.
