Is this as simple as just buying 2 monitors and having them both setup and turned on at once?
When you scroll the mouse will it go from one monitor to the other
May seem very simple to some, and i hope it is?

If you have a dual head graphics card (ie: two VGA/DVI sockets) then yes, plug them both in, switch system on jobs a good'en 
Within Windows/OSX you can set it to either clone the display or become a vertical or horizontal extention to the current display.
Once you have it up and running, ultramon is a good little util (for windows) to have, it allows you to further customise the displays like two different wallpapers, disable task bar on the second monitor etc etc

Cheers dom, yeah my nvidia graphics card has two sockets, so i'll go ahead and get them ordered tonight, i'll be using it to help with my betting, speed it up, by being able to have two screens open at once, viewing different things

once u go dual u can never go back lol, really tempted to get a 3rd, love it, itunes skype emails etc on one internet and tht on other,

i use extended desktop onto the projector one one pc and 2 screens on the other, much nicer

I've had it done for years..
just ordered a new 26" hd screen as a replacement for 2nd
so il have a 32 and 26 hd set up to pc

I dabbled in a bit of dutching a while ago and made some good money, I want to look into it properly though, need some decent software because as strick206 says it's all about the speed and you just can't get the timing right using the Betfair (or whatever site you use) website (i.e. need some decent software to do it on your PC).

You have to be very careful doing it because the stakes you use are much more than you would normally, i have looked into using software but if the software gets it wrong you could be deep in the shit and that worries me
You also need to have a few thousand spare to sit in an account to use when you are hedging, which a lot of people can't do, i've just borrowed 3k from my parents in return for 600 a year, could ideally do with anything up to 10k though

strick206 - I've seen bots where you can tell it the lowest odds you want to bet on, I think the best way of making money with bot software is using one with a ladder system but I can't really get my head around how that all works yet (probably me just being thick).
I think the vast majority of the time it's possible to green up, but where you might go wrong is if you get too greedy waiting for 'your' odds to come in to make the most money possible.
I need training from a professional gambler I think 
I agree with AndyKent though you should never borrow money to bet with, I didn't make money on the scale you are looking to achieve (I only spent £20 of my own money and had a return of nearly £100).
Start small and build it up from there that's what I say.

My parents money is no risk
Because i would only use my parents money (that is in betfair) when i have backed the horse with my own money
Therefore never touching my parents money unless my money is on (which is the risk - my money)
I can only use my parents money in betfair to lay a horse i've already backed, therefore no risk on their side
EDIT - I work as a horse racing trader so deal with it on a daily basis, would never put their money at risk if i didn't know 100% what i was doing

Didn't mean to say you didn't know what you were doing.
There is surely still a risk though. What if you lay a horse which wins (using parents money) after backing with a bookie. The bookie then voids your back but betfair settles your lay. You've then lost the betfair cash, and got no winnings to cover it.
Unless I'm mistaken?

Yeah possibly, but a bookmaker would need very good reason to void your bet, once it's struck it's pretty much a contract, doesn't matter if the price changes 5 seconds after you place it
The only real way a bookie could void your bet is if you had received a letter saying your account has been closed, and all future bets will be void, and then go and open another account, once they find you, they'll void your bets
Which tbh, is very stupid because you should know what would happen so i won't get caught with that

It doesn't help with my job but i'm getting shut left right and centre by bookies so he must be using other peoples details too?
Good on him, i'm only aiming to make a comfortable amount on top of my income, to cover bills etc, pay off credit cards, and live comfortably, plus i enjoy it

I'm not sure Strick tbh, not spoken to him since Jan or so, he was doing it full time as there was no work around and he had nothing else to do.
He did say that they'd closed a few accounts on him, dunno if he's even still alive now tbh

Now to look for 2 monitors,
can anyone recommend a monitor, it doesn't need to do anything special, will be used for just normal computer tasks
I will have a TV in the room anyway so doesnt have to include freeview etc
