VTR = 8 valve, VTS = 16valve

VTR = quite nippy, VTS = pretty quick.

As Alan said, 8v's are good engines as found in Peugeots such as mine aswell, 16v is far better though.

0-60 is 7.8 seconds on the vts? is that right?

pretty quick for a small hatch.

get a few usual extras on the saxo vts aswell rear headrests pass air bag, oil gauge temp and how much is in etc.

I know someone selling a decent 53 plate vtr with 54k on the clock, s/s exhaust, multispoke allys and smoked lights for £2k if anybody's after one

Had both a VTR and a Pug 106 GTI..

Enjoyed them both while they lasted you can't beat the low down instant push it gave you around town..meanwhile the GTI would scream and drag you down the rest of the street

I'd say VTS mate.Oh and have some spare cash to fix it.

pfft, C2s = plastic shite.

saxos aren't much better but I'd have one over a C2. Would need to have a roll cage though - I wrote one off by crashing into it at 5mph.
