Anyone else had this problem?
If so why?
Also how do I go about getting it sorted?
Thanks Mark(CorsaSRi16v)

Could be handbrake switch. Pull the wire from it and see if problem persists. If it goes away buy a new switch. If not get the system checked fully by mechanic. Remember - Brakes are quite handy things to work properly.

Fek, I have this ATM only when I go quick round right hand corners which is strange
I thought it must be a dodgy connection or somthing, but now I think i'll be checking my brake fluid etc. 2moz!

nope, wrong.
If it is you pads it does do it round corners as this is exatly what mine did, and checked the pads and they were low, changed pads and hasn't hapened since, this is my theory as why it was my pads as just before corners you put the break on, thus pushing pads in, thus fluid in resevoir going down, thus light going on.
Trust me check the breaks.

could be the fluid sloshing around on tight corners causing the light to come on,check level

Hmm I don't know what it could be then as the brake fluid is full and I only had new shoes on the back about 2 months ago.

Why would that effect the hand brake light coming on?
Anyway yes they are good as they are only about 2 months old as well.

it's low brake pads, happened on my corsa asoon as i changed them, light stopped comming off. the light comes on more easier the lower the brakes get.

i had it when hammering round corners, brake fluid looked full, but still the light came on, so topped it up anyway and it went away.

Because more fluid is being used. changing pads would increase the level of fluid.

Well I just looked @ my fluid and you can't tell where the hell it is by looking thru the side, at the min and max lines.
But it does look a little low from what I can make out. I'll give it a top-up tomorrow and see how it goes.
