gonna be so exciting methinks...

I've been watching this Abu Dhabi tracks progress the last few months, and I simply can't wait. I think it could be one of the best F1 track layouts on the calander. Whether it will be the best track I don't know, the sand has a lot of downfalls..

But 2 huge straights, a good variation of corners and overtaking places.

For me, at the end of the main straight, there is a sharp left, then right. So if you overtake but go in a little toooo hot and go wide into the left corner, the person you have just overtaken can cut in tight, get a better line for the right hander and have the better speed down the next long straight before another tight left hander (hence getting the place back).

Will anyone crash in the pit tunnel??

Oh, Bernie is c0ck end. No money, no British GP....

So, half the teams ARE british, we have 3+ British drivers on the grid, half the teams crews are English, but can we have a GP, no.......

Someone please do a hitman job on that short ugly gimp granddad....

I think Antony Davidson (who I REALLY rate!!) has got a drive back for 2010. He was with Super Aguri at the start of the year before they wen't bust in 2008.

He always thrashed his team-mate. Never got a good position in the race, but you can only go relative to the other driver in the team. The car was awful.

maybe it was the car, but i hate the guy, always blows his own trumpet. At Spa he was saying, "i didnt lose my drive, my team went under" if he was good enough he would still have a drive, i can't see him getting on the grid next year personally

No, he actually is a very very good driver.

Put him in a good car, and he'd be right up there. Just becuase the car was awful, don't dismiss the driver.

As a driver, you have have to be confident and arrogent.

I think he's already signed up.

he never scored a point for BAR or Mindardi either (although he only raced for them 1 and 2 times) both times he didn't finish the race.

Sato beat him in almost every race that they both finished iirc and Sato scored points for Aguri in 2007, can't see how thats thrashing his team mate personally..

Exactly, 1 or two times with substandard teams.

Sato had been racing for a few years. He came in and regulary beat him iirc?

im 99% sure the races they both finished (about 10 races) Davidson only finished ahead of him twice.

Davidson has been involved in F1 since about 2002 With BAR and minardi, as test driver (when they were allowed to test) and racing.

Sato had also been around since abour 2001/2002 but he had a lot more races.

With drivers in GP2 coming through, i dont really see why anybody would give a drive to a 30+ year old with about 20 races experience.

This track looks amazing..the main straight is stupidly long. I hope this gets on some racing games soon. Gonna be a good end of the season chaps

Track looks amazing, and it's a real shame tbh that the season 'ended' at Brazil.

Most new tracks don't have a cost in the billions

money does not equal a good track, in fact most of the best tracks are cheap!
