Tariffs, look just like the o2 ones to me, what a surprise.
Should be helpful (or not) to anyone who was waiting to see what they'd be like.

What a load of cunts. 24 month contracts too.
I pay around £27/8 a month at the moment for something like 400 anytime mins, unlimited texts and mobile web. TBH I never even get close to using 500 texts or the 400 minutes.
But it'll cost me £34.26 for what I'd want on an iphone plus £87 for the 16GB phone... maybe they will do a better offer considering I will be upgrading. Can always threaten to leave I guess

I knew they wouldn't be much different, apple charge a fortune for the iphone and the networks need to make it back somehow, I can't see vodafone being any different unless they have worked out a deal with apple (little to no chance) or they sell it at a loss to get business.

i think our tariffs may be a little better than O2 or Orange but not much diff, we shoudl get better deals in theory as we sell it in more decent markets than Telefonica and France Telecom

I get 600 mins, unlimited texts, free internet (on the phone, not a stupid dongle), for £29.50 a month. With a free blackberry.

Well I'll certainly try to get them to give me the phone for free with it being an upgrade. You never know
Failing that throw a strop and ask to be put through to the retentions department. Then probably find out they are happy to let me leave

They might ask for part of the phone to be paid for by yourself. Some phones (most pretty good ones) have to be paid extra for [depending on tariff and contract length].
You probably already know that though

Streets ahead or just slightly better?
There wasn't much point in orange getting the iphone, they surely can't have enough loyal customers to justify them having the same tarrifs as o2.

Not liking 02 just because they offer free texts to other 02 customers [this may be just for PAY AS YA GO though]. It's annoying.

orange 500 sms as average, and 750mb data
we are unlimited on both counts for smartphones.
nismo-o2 uk customer base is higher than ours, but group look at operating figures globally, where vf are billions ahead.
depends on how you look at figures i suppose

true, but from an iPhone user perspective no one will compete with the users that O2 have, the other operators missed THE mobile bandwagon of the decade.
