Orange tariffs aren't any better than o2.
Vodafone will apprently offer better tariffs but I can't see them being massively different.

I've just got a 16GB 3gs. Cost me £97 - get unlimited texts, unlimited 02 to 02, 600 mins and free WAP.
I think it's the best thing since sliced bread tbh!!
£35 per month.

I've ordered it on Orange
£34.26
600 minutes
500 texts
free mobile internet and WIFI
£87 for a 16GB phone.
The tariffs are not all that great but I wont use all those texts or minutes. Just a bit steep, seems more like a £20-£25 tariff IMO

it's not the price john... I think the price is fine.
It's the fact that o2 3g coverage is absolute wank! Orange has good 3g coverage.

Likewise, if you can afford to pay for the phone upfront, it works out better value for money / cheaper to get a cheap SIM only deal.

I phoned 02 mate. Recently cancelled a contract with them as i had a works phone. Left that company and needed a phone / lots of minutes. Surpose i got a good deal for going back with them after 6 years and always paid on time.
