I never really go past 5k's revs but iirc (x14xe corsa b) it goes up to 7k.... On a normal day i go up to about 4 - 4.5k... What is a safe everyday limit?

i smash the limiter every single gear, and my justy doesn't have a limiter so it just revs and revs and revs, till i choose to change gear..which is never.

but seriously 2.5-3.5

depends how I feel, when i want to make the car go, I'll often go to 30mph (redline) in 1st gear.

Car seems to tolerate the abuse pretty well..been driving like this for years in the same car/engine.

I don't understand only going to 2.5 / 3k (unless its a derv), thats less than half of the engines range?

I'm 6k (or more) just about every drive.

Because it's more fuel efficient and not putting constant strain on the engine?

Remind me not to buy a car from you

I think it does an engine good to be driven hard from time to time, but not constantly.
