I've had 2 lots of £34.99 stolen from my bank account by some company called Play NC Europe Internet. Never heard of them before and going on their site I've never bought anything from them.
So fucking pissed off Off to the bank at lunchtime to sort this out. I presume they will be able to get me my money back. They had better.
Dont understand how they could have my bank details to be able to get the money?! Argh

Yeah I've looked it up. Never been on it before in my life and haven't bought any games for a couple of months. And those I did do were directly from Amazon.

I wouldn't worry too much mate, I had £105 taken over a year ago (HSBC Plus account), only noticed last month, gave them a call and it was refunded to me within a couple of days.
Hope you get it back!

It'll be passed onto the fraud department and you should get it back.

I wouldn't be surprised if that is the case.
How ever its reassuring to hear that someone else with the same account got their money back.
On a plus note if I get it back it means I have £70 more than I thought I had for the next month

Why dont you ring this Play place and ask them?
Also, have you used any of their brands? http://www.ncsoft.net/global/support/ourbrand.aspx

No not used any of their brands.
I'm not ringing them, its the banks job to sort it out. Thats what I pay them for surely!
Plus I'm in an open plan office so its not very convenient for making private phone calls

Its their job to refund you if its wrong, but tbh Id say it was yours to at least investigate and make sure it isnt actually something you have bought - after all they had to get your bank details from somewhere.

They will usually refund the money back.
Happened to a mate, someone used card details to purchase a load of haircare products from various internet sites. Long process, but you should get the money back.

The only thing I've bought online in the past month is an iPhone case directly from Apple.
I have received that and the payment has been taken for it by Apple. I haven't received anything else to show for the 2 amounts of £34.99 that has been taken by this Play NC Europe outfit

Well I went to the bank and they put me through to the telephone banking people. Sending me forms out to fill in. Can take up to 6 weeks to get the money back. Cancelled my card.
Fuck me I just want my money back, I dont want to speak to people on a phone and fill forms out and have to wait for weeks to find out I might not even get it back.
The lass in the bank was friendly and helpful enough. Just not impressed with how long this is going to take.

A bank isnt just going to give you money back instantly when tbh its not their fault

Thats the fraud teams job? Thats what they are there for, I'm not going to start interfering with it. I'd rather moan about it on the internet and let them sort it out
I just dont understand how it can take up to 6 weeks?!

Because they will have to look in to it all, and as they arent you it'll take longer.
Just ring the company, ask them why, if they cant tell you why then ask for it to be refunded.
Job done, taken 5mins and you're not waiting 6 weeks for your money.

If you follow the procedure properly then the bank will usually be very helpful. In my experience when one of my accounts had been fraudulently used Natwest were all to helpful in assisting. Bearing in mind that was a credit card so slightly different.
