Hey guys, do you reckon its worth fixing the damage on my car?
Also, i don't have the time to reshell. But the car is a t reg, which is spotless under it, has brand new exhaust, wheel barings and master brake cyclider slave. Plus it has tax till March, and mot till Nov 2010.
Also just had new engine fitted, which has done half mileage of the car, but that's only done 88k. The car is spotless really but the damage on the side...

Thats the damage, i reckon the dent could be pulled out so its respectable.
Would get a new door too in arden blue. as its got rust on.
Just the bit of damage near apillar.

Would you bash the body work in and filler/fireglass it. Or would you get a new bit welded on too it?

Also... I've done a photoshop how i would like my car too look.

So what would you do?

I'd;

Pull the big dent under the obvious damage
Cut that crease out, patch with steel, fill and paint,
Fit a new door

Something along those lines,

That damage isn't the end of the world IMO.

Re-shell? Tell me you are taking the piss? If you had 10 years to do it i still wouldnt re-shell, wouldnt even fit a new door to that, repair the lot.

dont need any plates welding it or anything like that by looks of it, pretty sure u can get right up there with taking rear door card off to get the bit on the quater to knock on the edge out and then tap down and fill, most of the big dent will push out but may need to shrink metal around it to keep it there. bit of a bigish job if ur not trained to do it but obviously depends how much u want to spent etc. have u tried quotes for bodyshops?

maybe by a fred in a shed but seriously its not going to be alot cheaper.

Not really hard to blend colour but would require blending so as i said may aswell repair front door at same time, and the paint quater and door.

for that your looking i would say at around £350
