If you read what Hodgson says though is if heskey is beeing considered why not Zamora
think he has a point in that respect tbh

This is why I still think England will struggle. Where Spain and Brazil have numerous world class strikers England have 1 really and at the minute a red hot Defoe.

Although in saying that I still reckon Crouch can score goals at any level for England, his record is top drawer.

We have one world class, and then a few others who on their day offer something that is good enough to put them in the England squad.
Zamora is not either of those.

Owen is better than Zamora and he wont get picked so I dont see why Zamora should get a look in. Not saying that he is doing mind, its just the southerner saying he thinks he should because he plays for his team.
