cannot believe im writing this but some of you on here know your shit so here goes
long story short, i met a girl last friday, had a good chat and arranged to meet up the following monday, that went ok and even though there was alot of eye contact i wouldnt say there was much flirting but i got the impression she was kind of shy. at the end of the night i drove her home and had a little chat in the car, she got out and said "ok, thanks i will see you later" i said/asked if she wanted to do something again and she said to text her and gave me a hug. now i text her earlier to see if she was up for doing something next week but havent heard a thing. she seemed shit hot at replying to messages from her friends so dont know whether i should just take the hint and leave it there
any thoughts?

I'd not contact her again just yet. Try texting her next week and if you still get no answer then see if she contacts you, if not forget about her.

I'd never send 2 texts without reply with a bird I'd met once, texts don't go randomly missing or get ignored in my experience.

Just leave it, she probably doesnt want to seem to keen. if you hear nothing by sunday try texting her once more then if you hear nothing then you know to try fuck one of her mates!

You might even find she's waiting on the second text to note your interest but when it doesn't come she'll end up replying with some dodgy excuse why she never earlier.

If a bird snogs me on the first date shes either been a long time without it or shes an easy slut that would cop off with anyone when drunk in town... so i usually leave it till the 3rd date before initiating a kiss.
