Lucky recorded a 4.97.

But, I think the fastest 0-60 now belongs to Specky in his tigra with road legal tyres. Something like 4.8 seconds.

Whether thats the fastest in the world, I very much doubt it.

230bhp, 380lb/ft, weighs around 1100kg. SQM in 13.5 (at bruntingthorpe) and 13.7s @101mph at Pod

Danny- just a pd150 hybrid turbo and mapped

also the other thing is its not setup for straight lines only either, it handles very well and still does 55mpg+

100% truth, hes going for more power too, which will improve the 1/4mile times too, 0-60 wont get any better unless he plays around with gearing

Just been reading a really good build thread on Edition38, of a Mk5 Golf GTi, which ran a 4.5 sec 0-60!

At last yrs Trax specky did a 4.something to 60.

There was a Mk3 Escort, 5 door , that did a 2.8 to 60. Cosworth powered.

To look at the car was nothing special, it was the ultimate sleeper.
