other than the bullets going through the screen, macbooks seem to be pretty bullet proof

Its clearly not going to be a security guard that shot it.. It might have been taken away and shot with a bomb diffusal robot but they are making out that someone pulled outa pistol and shot it in an air port lol!

I can't confirm the story because I wasn't there obviously, i'm assuming you have been to an Israeli airport and know what goes on?

There is no airport in a civilized country who are going to allow security to let off firearms in the airport.

Even if they suspected it contained a bomb they arent going to simply put a bullet in it there and then are they?

It mentions one in the linked flickr photos IIRC, but that's a seperate incident

Looking at the way the dents are in the screen and the keyboard, it looks like it was shot through the screen first - surely you'd be able to see through the screen if that was the case?

I think that's because of where the flash is, it's not illuminating directly behind the screen.

I can see the back of the bed perfectly fine with what looks like a window providing some natural light - surely that should be enough to at least give a slight image of a hole rather than just solid black?

I can see what looks like a light from the top right as well, I don't see what they would be faking by doing that though, it's definitely been shot in some form.

Yeah I dont think its fake, as in it has actually been shot, but just not sure why you cant see through the holes when you clearly should be able to.

I also dont get why they would shoot the laptop and give it back - why not just take it and keep it/go through it looking for whatever they suspect her of doing/porn.
