Stuck in stansted airport, flights been delayed 3 times now.
Meant to be in glasgow tonight but they've cancelled loads of flights due to crap weather.
Looks like ill be driving the st up if they cancel ours

i'm just outside glasgow (opposite end to EK)... its not too bad... prob 4/5ish here, main roads are ok...
EK however gets snow very bad due to it being high up. 10 inches sounds a bit of an exageration tho...
this is from earlier today when the snow had only just came on..

Have fun in east kilbride then, is there actually anything good there other than the shopping center? That not being great!
On another note a pigeon smashed my windscreen there when I hit it goin 60mph!
P.s. My family are all from round that area so not just stabbing in the dark!

he wasn't lieing about 10 inches of snow. bloody hell, never seen anything like it
taxi couldn't get up the street so had to drop us off about 200 yards away. nopt good at 1am!
also, never seen a tractor/plougher come down a street either before now  madness.

As a guy on the radio said yesterday, its not so much that we are any different, its that down here the population density is so large that the amount of cars on the road in comparison is rediculous.
When you then take into consideration some people will be being overly cautious others get wound up and cause accidents.
Because of the accidents, abandoned cars, people stuck etc all the roads in a town can get snarled up very very quickly. I've been out driving in it every day and to be honest the only times i have had problem is where others have had accidents and traffic has built up.
