My view on sales is.......

If you like something that much, you'd have bought it full price.

Hence why I don't do sales.

I spent £1000 on white goods in the sale, saving a total of £530

I would have been pretty pissed off if I bought them last week knowing they would be cheaper today

I tend to agree.

However, when you know that sales are about to start then it makes sense to wait a few days to see if what you wanted drops in price. If it does your onto a winner and if it doesn't then you just buy it anyway.

Not really,I wouldn't but an Elite at £200, but I did at £140. Sometimes you aren't prepared to pay the RRP.

Girlfriends parents bought us a new TV for Christmas. It's a 22" Hitachi. It seems very small though although the girlfriend only had an old school 21" in the bedroom.

I checked the Comet website and it was £200. I'd have rather stumped up an extra £50 to get a 32" Comet was advertising today

Just picked this lot up from the sales

Spotted everything before x-mas an all and was prepared to pay full price but was waiting for my x-mas money, all in the sale now so it can pay to wait a few days. Saved over £100
