plus the leh has uprated pistons,rods,bigger turbo afm better injectors

Bloody hell that's cheap!!

You could buy a normal (white) 3 door...maybe a diesel that's done mega mileage..swap the engine and box..new suspension..VXR brakes and make a proper sleeper

cole, engine is good but needing to buy the lel/leh driveshafts to make it fit your hubs is a killer, almost 400 a side!!!!

engine is ok price, driveshafts make conversion alot more!

i got my leh engine for 1500 delivered and only done 8k miles, also came with gear cables and gear leaver! so just had to buy couple of engine mounts and the dreaded driveshafts, bought one new and got another from breakers!

i love the 6 speed:-)

i would say 1500 is about right for engine!

its not that cheap?

how easy is it to run canbus type stuff into later cars? aftermarket ecu required really, adding another 1k plus mapping.

interesting? maybe.

van, the m32 from vxr engine needs different shafts then the m23 ones on zaf or astra mk4! the vxr ones dont fit into the hubs i tried changing the hubs but that also does not work, totally different, need shafts form a mk5 with z20lel or z20ler which are pretty uncommon to come by second hand!

if i was to put 6 speed into vx220 i would need all the shafts/gear selector and cables etc etc from lotus europa!

heard that there are a few tricks now at getting the m32 box using certain shafts from a mk5 astra into mk4 etc... cant remember what they are...


wish i just bought it now at £1000 and £25 postage for both before he put the price up....
