STI looks better, is quicker, better brakes, diff controls, and more. Everything is better than the WRX basically.

The STi has a slightly tuned block, different MAP, some have DCCD, bigger spoiler, different wheels etc..

The TypeR's are 2 doors and the TypeRA are four door striped out light weight versions with a roof flap.

ROFL what a misinformed crock of shit this thread is.

To the original poster the Wiki article on imprezas is pretty decent and detailed to be fair.

Also if you search on SN its been discussed several times so you may find a few good threads with comprehensive summaries.

Some of these replies are hilarious As some have stated, the WRX STi has bigger wheels, more power etc and in more recent years have been fitted with Brembo's. And up til recently the newage STI's (01 onwards) have had a 6 speed box whereas the WRX only had a 5 speed. Some STi's also have the IC Spray too. Then you have the special models like the Type C's, Type RA's the (3 door) P1, Type R, 2b etc. There's a hell of a lot of different Impreza's out there
