Im wondering peoples opinions on these as im wanting to build a fast 1.6.
I was wanting to do a turbo as there arent many ive seen. But was wandering if it was worth the extra cost.
I would be doing it properly with a diblias kits and low comp pistons.

Throttle bodies make the most orgasmic sound EVAR! Here's a fine example Throttle bodies

Now here's a turbo Nova

Yes they both sound good, but that throttle bodied Nova makes me fucking WET!

I would imagine enclosed throttle bodies don't give off a great sound due to being enclosed.

ITB's ftw.

Depends on the application of the car tbh....a tb'd 16 makes power high in the revs 9k if you want them to of not more if you have a spec like broster's

Exactly nick. But you can also have a turbo car making that power from about 2.5k onwords with boost (correct me if wrong). Unfortunately with n/a they really come into power past 4k or more depending on how the cams are set up. Makes great fun being up the revs alot, but its un usable power on the road for a every day car especially with the noise!

So for a fast road car a turbos going to be much more useable. Because im after a fast road car to use on the odd trackday.
Does anyone no any project threads of a x16xe turbo and wat kind of power they put out?

I have only ever known 1 turbo x16 to work. They are normally unreliable I think.
