Depends on the dealership. One place I've been I wasn't even allowed to drive the car on the way out, another I could drive the car as much as I wanted but the salesperson came with me.
Place I bought the focus they just gave me the keys and off I went

went to see my nephew last night, he's got 2 chest drains and pipes and wires everywhere 4 needles for drugs an a constant spinal block for pain, poor thing
id go back up now but the parking is a joke, there is no more than 20 spaces in the car park an there is no where near to park
