I'm sure a lot of you have read or seen various posts already but I can confirm that it is true. I'm sure there will be several people with money paid to Chris and no parts and all I can advise is that if you have paid by card or Paypal is to get onto them as soon as possible to see what can be done.
Knowing Chris personally this was the last thing he wanted. He has tried his hardest to avoid this including relocating to cheaper premises. I want people to realise that he is not a limited company he is a sole trader so he essentially loses everything not just the business. So when people start slagging him off about losing a few hundred quid bare it in mind.
I am gratefull for what Chris has done for the scene and it is a great shame to see such a business go under.
SHIT
Does anyone have any contact details for him? I know someone who'd be interested in stepping in to make some of the engine mounts etc... would be worth seeing if he's got any tooling or masters for sale

Shocking
His business was very successful indeed going back 18months
Started to go downhill when he lost trust in his employees and sacked them all off.
Tried to run the business as a one man band and failed miserably.
Profits started to fall along with his reputation then he couldnt afford to hire anyone new.
Obviously thought that moving away would solve all his problems.
In reality his reasoning behind it was probably something to do with the fact that his reputation went down like a hooker on overtime, needed fresh clients after all the local lads had realised his uselessness / unreliability
One of the main reasons he moved is to stop the workshop side and focus on purely orders. He also needed a larger house with another baby on the way.

Sad state of affairs, all these decent companies seem to suffer with the same problem, get too popular overnight and can't keep up with production of what is ordered then before you know it everyone has fucked off as you can't rely on that company any longer.

That was part of PVD's issue.
Grew TOO fast, couldn't keep up.
Plus Pete was a nob cheese and spent whatever money was available, on flash vauxhalls and expensive hotels.

Shame to hear, I dealt with Chris once and he had real bad issues with his suppliers delivering to him also.
I guess business is tough when you just want to help people out.
