Would love to have regular meets but most of the orginised meets in the scotland section have been miles away from me, and the closest one last week was a disaster.

How about a sub section for the different counties in the scotland region or for north east south and west? (maybe central too)

There are plenty of people around here that would probably go to meets if they were local and the other countries are all split up nicely.

Agreed... just so hard to please eveyone or set something up for an entire country that works.

Defo works well for the likes of VxDC and VXRonline been to a few regional things and does well. Not a ginger pube for miles.

It would also mean that we could have local meets and the option to go to other if we wanted t travel, not that we must travel miles if we want to go to a meet

I've allready spoke to Ian about this, he said something along the lines of theres not much point splitting into more than one region. Stoney will do north and I will do south, unless more people want to step up and organise events around their area. In which case, speak to Ian

There's nothing stopping you or anyone from organising something, I did the RR day just because we havent had anything for ages, not in the 2 years I've been here I don't think. It went great, another wil be organised around July time.

Splitting the region would just make each region less busy. I would suggest just getting a member of staff for each part. If you've anyone in mind it needs to go to the vote in a post in the region.

I like the sounds of that, its like a split but just a member of staff controls a certain area, who are the possibilities or would it need new people for it?

Also what kind of divide (of scotland) were you thinking ian?

You guys are more familiar with the geography and the active users so its really down to the members themselves to make a decision.

Region stats would help you make a decision assuming everyone involved is using Location Services.
