Accounts Assistant (but I guess this is a very broad title, could apply to someone who is very close to qualifying as a chartered accountant, or someone just starting off and literally plugging figures into a computer, like me) and Im on 15.5k (which is about £15k more than most people out of my uni year ) yet the average is £22k £18k in East mids

says the average for people doing my job within 25 miles of my work postcode is 0k

I think I can safely say I'm on more than that. Obviously not very accurate as I know of 4 other people working here doing the same job as me and they wont be working for free. Plus any other companies in the area

my basic wage is below average but i do call out too so i have lots of overtime. for the last 5 years i've earnt a couple of grand more than the average.
