i work in electricals bud, 1080i aint 1080p so pic isnt as good even in HD broadcasts. 5 year warrenty with sony is only parts and labour so wont cover call out charges and that was given free by sony a few times. personally i would pay £300 tops for the tv as you can get new models now for the price you want for yours.
