Everyone at work was going on about going to the doctors for perscriptions etc. and I said I havent been to the doctors since I was about 13/14 (I'm 29 next month).. They all thought that was strange?

Now I'm worried and I wonder if I should go to have an 'MOT' ???

More important when you get older, around 40 you should definitely go get screended for cardiovascualr disease although it is good to know stuff like if you have high blood pressure etc, stuff that can have adverse affects on your health but without you realising.

I would only go if I had been Ill for a long time and it wasnt getting better or if I was bleeding and it wouldnt stop/bones sticking out I'd go to the hospital.

But is that just some stupid man-logic? I don't want to be one of those people who doesnt go to the doctors to get something looked at and it turns out to be horrible cancer!

It's a man thing not going to the doctors, one of the main reasons women out live us I think!

IT's good to know Davey, even more so if direct family have had CVD under the age of 60 but then they usually monitor you a lot more anyway if that is the case.

TBH I only go if something is obviously wrong with me, i.e. not just a cold or deadly man-flu.

Have been once in last 12yrs or so.

Had a lump for a while, got a bit panicked at first but I have ignored it. Maybe I should take action so I can see what's up.

I hate waiting for news though...

get it checked out! it could be nothing.

if they're concerned you'll be fast tracked and have all the tests and ultrasound done within two weeks.

i've been felt up by more men than women
