Thats the rate for the first year of registration. from the second year onwards it will be £435.
Think of it as a new car tax.
The government are doing it because they know people will still pay it.

that is rediculous.
so is it only on the first year of registration? so doesnt affect you so much if you bought it second hand?
If its only on the first year of reg i can see alot of companies not selling much unless they eitehr pay it or register it first so people are constantly being the second owner although i doubt they would get around it that way.

people will just get the dealer to pay it or manufacturers will just up the price to make it look like they're adding it in for free.

tbh, ally darlin is only thinking about himself and all those other high paid idiots who think of stupid ideas. increasing tax and all that is nothing to him but for those who do struggle its everything.

There's a real problem though. This is probably the only way to solve it.

farm animals produce more. if it was a problem then we'd be taxed on meat.

That's half the issue, powering your car using a finite fuel that's controlled heavily by political events is getting stupid now.

Astra tax is up end of March so luckily can put ayear on it for £215 rather than £245.
Disgusting amount, how do they believe that taxing people more to own cars is going to help save the planet?
It's bullshit and this lefty liberals swallow it up wholesome.

Clio is going up by £30 too. Roads are a disgrace my car now rattles due to the massive pothole that made me hit bumpstops at 40mph and now the car rattles.
theifs, and agreed Ollie nobody has the balls to disagree they dont even understand it so they just go along with it so as not to be the odd one out.
