Ok sports fans, which would you rather happen this year?
I've started a full scale argument in the office over this
Couple of scenarios so vote for the most relevant.
If you vote give your reasoning too!
My vote - CL. Players give their all and with national football theres always something that lets the team down.

Well, with Crewe being in the bottom half of league 2, and West Ham fighting for survival, I've gotta go with the World Cup really.

I somehow managed to miss the getting promoted option so voted England winning the world cup. Would probably rather Newcastle win the championship though
I actually find it hard to watch a whole international game unless I'm in the pub

England winning the World Cup would be huge, I actually think there would be a national holiday the day after if we won it.

I've voted for winning the prem, to do it 4 years in a row will be amazing but so would winning the CL, hopefully beating Barcelona.

Rather we won the Premier League AND Champions League than England winning the World Cup.
Be nice if England won but I'd rather United did 4 years in a row in the PL as no one else has done it before plus it puts us on 19 league titles - more than anyone else

I knew I'd get people agreeing with me!
Got a United fan at work kicking off as the WC is more important

I'd rather my team got promoted.
Reasoning - England will always be around, whether we win the WC this year or not. Time is running out for us to get out this god awful league

At this moment in time I would rather Newcastle win the Championship and get promoted. Then England win the WC in the summer.
If they weren't options I would rather Arsenal win the PL

I'd choose for Wales to win the world cup. As the chances of that happening are far less that Man U winning the league, champions league or getting promoted.

Surely just getting TO the World Cup would be enough for Wales fans?

Are you lot on crack or something? You get to see United winning the league every season, wouldn't you want to see the jubilation around the country of winning the world cup?
Very strange bunch.

Nobody has won it 4 seasons in a row before and as a bonus it puts us 1 ahead of Liverpool.
Why the hell would I not want that? United fan first, England second.

International football has lost something for me.
When I was at school so tournaments through the 90's I'd rather have watched England play over anybody. Probably since Mclarens time in charge though I'm not really bothered

I don't think England will ever win it again, our last great chance was 1990 but that doesn't mean I can't dream.

Fuck the world cup, couldn't give a toss
Would sooner win the PL, and then the CL in that order
Would also prefer wigan to stay up than england win the world cup

Wigan should go down. Purely due to their abysmal support
