looking at 1K to £1500 anything less and start doubting the condition. Saw aLET lump go for 1300 on MIG and it had 105K on the clock.

Turbo engines for sale on the modded market are way too much money, especially when you can buy a complete car at auction for 500 quid. Seen it done.

yup i know, but then finding a Calibra turbo here
is like searching for a 25 year old virgin!

I called OPEL here to ask prices and they asked for 10.000euro just for a armed block!!!
After that i had to find a box the eletrics and buy the transplant parts!

It's not easy aroud here!
Another option was to buy one in Spain,
wich have lots, but then what about warranty?

and then there was eds-motorsport from Germany:

>You are a very lucky guy , we just prepared a brand new engine , we can
>sell
>you this device for only 6500EUR together with a  complete re-newed
>turbocharger and include our Phase-3.5  !
>
>A gearbox F28 fro FWD you can get as brand new part with 0 km for 2500 EUR
>and as a used F28 FWD gearbox for only 1100 EUR

...so i give up looking and bought it from the manufactor of the transplant kit!
