Practice - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMTwkRkkIyI 1st in Class

Qualifying - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DBJL5p83szk 1st in Class

Final (best vid) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NO4K0CCKKiI 2nd in Class

Fee's fastest time of the day = 1:35.150 set in practice. Track space, tyres and some wee mistakes meant she didnt better it... still about 7secs quicker a lap than she managed last year and good enough for 2nd place in 2009 too

Congrats to Scott Robson on the win though

Super final video (the only one i watch), She sure can drive!
I feel she lost time at the long set of rights after kickerbrook though (forgot the name of the corners)... Possibly backing off a little instead of trusting the car more to hold her in the corner? (unless it was right on its limit anyway?)

Though, saying all this I was only a passenger

Its so strange looking at those vids knowing that fee is driving, no offence fee but having met you, you would never guess to look at you that you were that kind of driver

I always thought it would be adam doin the driving and you cheering him on

Well done tho, that astra went very well.

Thats the one, every corner is slightly different for every car though, I would imagine Fee's entry speed would be a lot higher that what we were doing so all the bumps and stuff will be much more unsettling.

I want to do Oulton Park again after watching those vids, brilliant track.

There's no way that I could go into druids without braking
Scott did that unintentionally (brakes failed) and he went straight into the kitty litter

I could hold the pedal to the floor a bit longer coming into it....but I'm a woman and don't have big balls

Scott Robson was in the red impreza

The qualifying session decides who gets into the final. There are about 50 cars in club class, and only 25 or something like that get into the final.

The top 5 in qualifying also get points. So with my first place in qualifying and 2nd in the final, I should be leading club class

Eck - yup, I know....

I tried to drive the Skyline on the fri test day and just didnt get on with it. I'm now used to the Impreza on track and find the Skyline very heavy and the seating position, gear action etc are very alien. I couldnt have done that time.... so fair play to her

Gaz - Fee will be going into druids a lot quicker. She does feather the throttle a bit on the left before druids - she could perhaps keep it nailed there. Druids is prob best in a touch slower and faster exit.... watching out for the rear stepping out the the hump on exit.

The field seems a bit fairer this year... Fee prob has one of the better cars (not most powerfull or lightest, but good package) in her class.

The two WhiffBitz supras are very quick - but they are in the RWD class so thats ok

We were at Druids when Scott went off.......when he started going off we all thought he was definatley in the tyre wall but the gravel did its job amazingly!!!

to get an idea of speed (as it can be deceiving at times...) Fee is in 4th gear round there at high enough revs to pull out cleanly so prob 4000-5000ish rpm.

That is pretty quick considering 3rd tops out at 110mph, and she fires through the speed trap up the hill (clay Hill) after the chicane at 106mph

I was impressed with Time Attack.....it seems to have a good balance of drivers who are going it on a budget, and other drivers who throw loads at in in the Pro class but it works well and allows everyone to be competitive in their own right.

And when we were mooching round the pit garages (even though we didn't have passes... ) All the teams/drivers were really friendly etc.

Thumbs up to Time Attack.

I was quite impressed by some of the new FWD entries... mini's/astra etc. Nicely turned out.

Dont be decieved by 'budget' entries.... it still get horendously expensive uke:

This year is different for us... no big changes, old tyres.... trying to do it on a smaller budget!

Yeah...when I say budget I mean in comparison to Pro Class. Obviously even at Club level its still big money.....

it wasnt there as it isnt entered!

They are building a new one just now, and I'd hate to even think of the build costs and running costs of trying to do both!

Olly - Bo won his class, look at the FINAL vid for some footage of him.
