Anyone used these?

Need two new tyres, want rainsport 2's again, but the paradas are £40 cheaper for the pair. They look cool, but are they any good?

215/40/17 if anyone wants to find me some cheap rainsports

I use them on mine, not bad in the wet imo,
Excellent in the dry.
Also seen a few hill climbers use them as wet's so can't be that bad.

Ive got them, love them, not the best in the wet.

Had rainsports before them, although they were alot better in the wet, i think these are better.

I quite like them. I have used mine for about 10k miles and still have plenty of tread.
Great grip in the dry, not so good in the wet .... as long as you don't drive like a spanner when its raining they are fine

having said that I am confident in them and they have never let me down

tread pattern is

Verdesteins, Rainsports and Kumo KU31 would be the tyres I'd be looking at if I was on a budget

That's one thing I didn't experience, quick wear with them. I've had them on there 2.5 years, ring twice, brands twice and coombe and not much wear. My problem is I couldn't really get heat into them, took at least half the nurburgring to do it. Heavy Astra coupe, phase3 coilovers etc.
