So, after selling the corsa to doyle, i thought it was time for a nice new car. Something much newer, alot faster, with all the luxuries i wanted (aircon, climate control, cruise control etc etc)
So i decided to go for the Clio 182 with Cup Packs
Went and picked this up on thursday, and after an eventfull drive home, it was back! Gave it a quick clean today and took some pics, so here it is
New 3/4 plate, engine mounts being ordered. And the rest of that sticker on the back is coming off when i have time too!

Too true nick. Engine mounts are dead so over time the movement of the engine snagged at the alternator cable. Just so ahppened that it pulled it completely off on the m6
Didnt
have any tools so had to phone the brakedown people. Told him exactly what was up, and to bring some crimps and a 13mm. He was a muppet to be fair, and ended up telling them that the engine mounts had snapped off and ripped off the alternator. An hour later and the guy turns up in the recovery truck with no tools because he got told to recover us!
Ended up getting a lift 100 miles back haha!
Friday it got fixed in 5 mins

Very nice. Looking for one of these
Is reliability really that much of an issue on these?

Racing blue! that was my 2nd choice
Love my Clio 182, silly value for money even though i had to buy the rarest 2nd most expensive one
You will enjoy a refined yet hard ride (just like a BMW Mcar tbh) with infinate thrills. Its a bit rattly in places and very cheap inside. But they are solid and sooooo much fun.
enjoy 40.mpg and 0-60 in 7seconds also

Thanks jambo,
Was getting 43/44mpg on the way back As for the ride and cheep interior, it seems like pure luxury for me as i used to drive a corsa lowered -60mm!
