Currently helping my Mum tidy up the gardens for the summer and theres a couple of oil patches on the good slabs in the driveway, and a few patches on the street from where i park my car (Had a bad leak when i first got it)

Obviously i've fixed my leak and my gsi is away to scrap so i'd like to clean up my own mess.

Tried scrubbing with brake cleaner and a rag.
Also had the pressure washer out as well.

Any suggestions.

you can get stuff especially for that its a bit like a white grit you throw down and leave for a couple of days to draw the oil out, but the results aren't that great tbh.

cheapest & easiest options are either new slabs or pour oil on the rest so they match

Yeah I always have a bottle in stock. It's great on the garage floor, makes it well grippy even after a spill.

should do your oil changes over a grid, watch you dont drop the sump nut

I have an oil drainage pan
Its just where a bit of gearbox oil was still in my box and i lifted it out, and when i removed my pas pipes there was a wee drop of fluid in them still.

washing detergent powder can work, just pour a pile of the powder on it and leave it overnight or more, sometimes i occasionally wet the pile of powder if i walk by and have nothing to do.

then hose and brush it all away
