Just realised we are now 6 months in to the year and I still have 22.5 days holiday left to take plus bank holidays 
I'm not going on holiday this year either as I've got to pay my laser eye surgery off by September. What the hell am I going to do with all the time off 
Anyone else in the same situation?

I havent really taken much holiday this year, in fact havent since last May which was last time I went away - but then I dont really get a set amount of time to take.
Have book a 2 week holiday in October though and will no doubt take a fair amount off over summer if weather is nice

Havnt taken one day off as Holiday this year. Only get 22, 4days for xmas which leaves 18. Then I have 1week of in July down Newquay and 2weeks off in August down the south of France. Which only leaves me with 3 days

just had 12 days off spent 7 of them in ibiza...enjoyed it that much that i'm thinking of going back 29th jun to 8th jul

I could just take August off work but I dont think work would be happy and I wouldn't want to come back after that amount of time off
I would take it off as and when the weather is good and try to do plenty of mountain biking but its not always as simple as that as sometimes have deadlines to meet at work.
Or take every friday off starting from the middle of August and only have to do a 4 day week, again that'll piss work off

I did the same today, checked my holiday account and i have 22 days left. Save 8 for xmas time and the others are to be taken as i please

The days we are shut over Xmas are on top of that.
I'm going to have to be more successful in taking time off than I have been in the 1st half of the year. I just forget to use it then before I know it we are half way through the year.

Yup, shedloads left now as cancelled all my holiday i had for end of august - was goign to v then barcelona with the now ex missus. sucks

Actually i have taken more than i realised... i have already taken 12 days off this year. Started with 45 excluding public holidays.

However, we do have a buy and sell policy here so I can carry some over to next year to use (as if!) and also carry some over to then sell so not all bad, altho Barca cannot be refunded which super sucks + always wanted to go for my b.day AND we were then on up the coast to stay at her uncles flat in a little village by the beach for a few days
