I've heard about these and never really believed that anyone would bother making them, then low and betide, I got given one today. Youve never seen these before??

Family run a market stall, and ive probably seen over 1ks worth of fakes coins and fake notes.

Crazy really, but great fun watching peoples faces when you tell them there money is fake

i had some epic ones a few years ago ... were made of lead or somthing, if you scratched them they were silver underneath

Does it feel anything like the proper weight?

I have a fake 50p at the minute which is bigger and thicker than the normal 50p its like come on if your going to make a fake atleast make it the right shape and size .... unless in the past 40years 50p's have gone on a diet and it is actualy a legit 50p.

thats cool then, did think it may have bin as you would have to be pretty dence to make it as a fake and be that bad at it and the coin was from 1968 iirc

what i dont get is with the right steel and then tempered and obviously the correct print i dont see why it cant be successful

I take hundreds at work and just give them back out, round here people just use them as real pounds because there are so many and always has been.

What happens if someone brings you an old £5 note, do you exchange it for a new one? As I work in a shop and often get the old £5's and some £10's (one mother fucker thought they could hide the old £5's in with some new ones, the look on their face when I told them was priceless)
