Anyone got any recommendations?

The ones with it sound awful and feel like i have bits of glass in my ear after a while.

Will mainly be used while running, cycling - mostly listen to hip hop and rock.

Done some limited research and at the moment im thinking of ordering some SHURE SE210'S ...........

I had some shure phones before and they were pretty awesome - these are the only shures that seem to be in my price range

These ones are the newer sound isolating stuff- they go right in the ear canal and basically block out any outside noises ... just not sure its a great idea whilst cycling to have all road noises blocked- but then I suppose its not a good idea to cycle with tunes on anyway so I might as well go the whole hog and get decent sq

Anyone know of any other good uns?

I used to have some Shures, can't remember the exact model but they were the best in ear I've had. They were slightly over your budget at about £120
I'm currently using my mrs skull candy ones for running and for £15 I'm very impressed

Nothing wrong with those - my mate has some - but I have to say they were not a patch on my shures I had before.

My old shures cost £300 I think - I didnt have a car then so I was using them all day every day - had them for three years, they were as good the day I had them to when I sold them for £100.

I dont see the point in crap headphones - I wouldnt buy £20 speakers for a home stereo or a car stereo - good quality sound costs im afraid.... I think the most expensice shure in ear phones are still over £500 ...... if I used them more and didnt drive I would seriously consider them - cant really describe how good they sound.... will last you for ever

Have you got the 500's Nath --- was disapointed by the 300's - they are well priced but I read really glowing reviews on them and didnt really think they were great

For £16 I think my 300 are top value. So I can only imagine the 500's would be even better.

Agree for that money they are good .... hadnt actually realised they are that cheap to buy - thought they were closer to £30

Whats the bass like on them? The ones I listened to were brand new so I accept they take a while to sound good normally

Amazon sellers have them for about £16.

I dont use them alot so they do the job for me. Certainly better than what Apple hand out with iPhones anyway!

Personally I find the bass spot on. I literally cant fault them.

To me the bass on the sures i had really wasnt great so i sent them back and went for the cheeper sennheiser cx300's.

Im currently using the Bose in-ear earphones at the moment and im loving them. They seem to be perfect all round, with good quality bass and highs.

It's not just headphones when you want good quality though, which £3 headphones don't give you.

skullcandy fmj's for me too, brilliant for blasting music into your eardrums and the price tags come down loads too

senn cx500's hit higher high's but lack on low down bass, but i only paid about £12 for em so theyre alrite for a backup pair

no point going too expensive, i give my ipod some right hammer as it goes everywhere and iv wrecked about 6 sets of FMJ's in the last year or so, good job they didnt come in at £80 a pop
