Yeah, we rescued a duckling when we were kids, kept it until it was grown and released it at the University where there is a lake and loads of ducks etc.

Used to swim in the bath

had two ducks, very friendly once tamed. had them from 6weeks. dirty unless you keep ontop of cleaning. Make sure you lock them in a house or something at night else foxes will get them.

We had a duck make a nest in our back garden. We called it Daffy. it was there for about 4 weeks, had 11 ducklings, them moved on. ever so ofter they come back expecting a feed
