Basically, I am going to be selling the Corsa after TV Live and that will be its last outing for me.
What I want to know is what do lot think its worth?
The car in question, for those that don't know it,
1994 Corsa GSi
Smoke Grey
115 000 miles
123bhp
117lb/ft
Mantzel power box
X16XE lower manifold
Derestricted airbox
Courtenay Panel Filter
Janspeed 4-2-1 Manifold
Janspeed S/S exhaust
Fully stripped interior (everything except front door cards)
Sparco 3 point harnesses
OMP 10 point roll cage
Original GSI seats (no rips or holes)
Irmscher pedal set
Apex shocks allround
40mm front springs
90mm rear springs
spare set of 40mm rear springs (wet set up)
Whiteline rear anti roll bar
Polyflex poly bushes allround on everything
16" Softstars (ok condition) with almost brand new 195/45 Goodyear F1 tyres
15" Cav binlids with just legal fronts and good rears, 195/50 Toyo R888'S
Glassfibre bonnet with lockable areocatches
Irmscher tinted side repeaters
Dewipered rear tailgate
ICE - the big selling point
A Kenwood stereo that works
Infinty front conponent speakers you can just about hear
Mot till next April
4 months road tax
Every single bill/receiptold tax disc's/mot's since owing it for the last 8 1/2 years.
Some pictures
And video of it a Castle Combe this year (mostly posted because it has JR doing some grass cutting in the Astra and because of the chasing down of Dougie in his XE Cav)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNU3AKNFrVo
So how much do you think I could possibly sell it for, as its not really a run of the mill Corsa.
Cheers

A 16 year old corsa with no interior that's been tracked, £500 quid unless you find somebody that want's a track car, I've no idea where 2k comes from.

well lets be honest negative john, if you buy a caged up corsa it wont be for taking the kids to school ffs, its a very capable quick but cheap to run track car

Needs must tbh.
It hasn't been used since Mallory.
I would save myself £800 a year straight away just with tax and insurance.
I only use it as a track toy and its a waste.
I get a company car in sept, and tbh I would rather keep the vectra and use that on the odd day for track rather than having a dedicated track toy.
I wouldn't have room for 3 cars + the mrs car.
I have fallen for the V6 Vectra.
So many reasons and I have been umming and arghhhing over making a decision since April when I got made redundant and had to find a new job and a car. I just wish I had bought a snotter and not the Vectra.
I would so love to keep it as its my little baby after having it for so long and always wanting one.

I imagine there would be people willing to pay around the £1600 - £1800 mark for it.
Tax is a bit of an issue though, only 4 months left will put some people off.

Just personally when I get a "new" car I don't want the hassle to need to spend money on tax etc and 4 months isnt a lot of time but that's just me
If there is 2 cars the same 1 has 4months tax and the other 1 year then I would go the for 1 year car.
But I think its not really a typical corsa so most people wont have a problem with that and will want it anyway.

Yeah but it would never go back in again as all excess metal where stuff fixes to has been removed.

its all about the market where its aimed at. not what its worth to a boring person like john who doesnt really understand what it is they are buying or looking at.

In reality thats the only thing missing.
And its ripe for an XE conversion which imo would make it a brilliant car.

Plus the fact it actually is immaculate, not the usual GSi rubbish.
