Why is it so hard to find a basic part of probably one of the most common cars on the road?

All i want is the seat runners from a mk3 fiesta, however its turning into a massive hassle primarily because the majority of scrappys are either unhelpful or greedy.

They either want extorniate prices, or want to sell with the whole seat

Anyone know of any decent scrappys near me? Worcestershire

do you not have scrappies nearby that let you in to remove what you want?

Its simply not worth there time to remove the seat then rail for the price you want to pay. You cant blame them for 'needing' to turn a profit.

Its a long way to go to Gloucestershire but in Dursley there is a scrappy with plenty of Mk3 Fiestas and they let you in to take what you want, you might even find one without the seats... Bit muddy when its been raining though!

Have you tried one of the Performance Ford breakers? They are more likely to understand what you are talking about? Or are you just sticking to internet chatter?

Try over on Fiesta Turbo if not, a lot of them are very knowledgeable.

I have a mate who is building a Mk 3.5 Zetec Turbo and is putting Recaro's in it from a RS of some sort, not sure what runners he'll be using. I'll ask and see if he has the runners spare if not ( I have a feeling all the old interior is already in the tip though)

I hear you brother. Last time I went to a scrappy, it ended with the bloke saying: "You won't get anywhere in life with an attitude like that" and I genuinely wasn't being arsey!
Try Carmass in Kiddy Steve. They're very helpful. 01562541027
