1. shit casting
2. at the start of the film 2 guys were fist fighting trying to kill each other. trns out one had a knife and the other had a gun all along
3. someone had been on their planet for 10 seasons surviving on scraps. still a fat bastard
4. some woman got paralised - could still walk and pick up a gun and cock it and aim perfectly
5. main guy who was a lanky faggot (supposed hard man) cuts a predator loose so he can get him to fly him home.
why the fuck wouldnt th predator kill him then fly home himself.
so as i said ... WANK

Partly agree with this, although Adrien Brody and Alice Braga put in reasonably solid performances. The big Russian with the mini gun was a great homage to Jesse venturas character in the original film as was the Yakuza guy to billys character.

I dont recall him saying 'scraps', he said whatever he could find and as he was living in a jungle could have been plenty of wildlife and fruits etc. So you have just made an assumption here. Did you want them to do a cast away and get Lawrence fishburn to lose 3 stone before filming like tom hanks did? most people dont care about that level of detail

You know nothing about the neurotoxin. All toxins wear off after a certain period of time. She was not paralysed indefinitely. Plus she made the shot at short range, would not have been that difficult even if you did not have 100% motor function. Your comment = FAIL

He was in pretty good shape to be honest, the actor put in a lot of gym time for this film. Were you expecting a Schwarznegger? How many special ops type guys are 18 stone bodybuilders? Also he did not know how to fly the ship and if you knew anything about the Predator universe you would know that predators (original classic ones) have honour and its fair to say he would have flown him home to repay him for setting him free. They do not kill for the sake of it, think back to Danny Glovers character being given a 17th century pistol at the end of predator 2. Going by your line of thinking you could say why didnt they kill him? It looks like he set the ship on an autopilot to earth anyway

More like your review is 'WANK' and you know very little about the Predator Universe.
7.4 on IMDB
Mixed reviews from critics but the negative ones are mainly from those that just dont get it. IE this is a throw back film and a homage to the original. A film made by Predator fans for Predator fans and thus I guess it may not appeal to every cinema goer but it is far from wank and infinitely superior to the franchise cash ins that were A vs P.

one of the problems i had with the movie is [spoiler alert] topher's character being a super serial killer and what not.
the predators would of had to do some serious survielance.
where as the other characters they just picked up from hotspots etc.
