Already order my new car

I was thinking to get this for the missus and chop the VXR in

Not buying it to sell on - cant be arsed with that

I would be buying it from Lex Autolease as they provided the car

This is not quite the same 1 series, doesn't have the same wheels, xenons or heated seats but less miles and its a good 2k more than you can get yours for.

If its not recorded stolen then even though yours has another 15k on the clock £11,995 is cheap I would say in comparison to that one. Plus yours has the extras bits on it that doesn't have.

VXR still has a warranty though so depends if thats important to you. If not and if its not listed stolen I'd do it.

think i will do some more digging

There are 2 reasons for the VXR to go

1. its absolutely shit on fuel
2. the missus keeps going on about wanting a BMW

I want to get a 3 series coupe/convertible or 1 series coupe/convertible next but she likes mine

If its not listed stolen/recovered etc etc and you can afford it, then it seems sense to buy this for missus. At the end of the day VXR's are great but BMW's are so much better quality etc etc.

I'm probs going beemer next.

yeah the listing of the car is the key

Its just had 4 new tyres so rears are good for another 25k, it will be serviced fully MOt'd etc so should be ok

although I personally want to get a 3 series coupe/convertible early next year

Like you have said the key is whether its listed

And its a very nice looking car, well specc'd, you know its history etc, re-sale value will be alot better than the VXR, the missus gets a nice car, you get brownie points.....its a no brainer to me.

So have you already ordered your next company car then?

Maybe a chance you could buy it, run it till next year like you would of done with the VXR and sell on without losing any money on it or maybe even making some?

I havent got the car financed - Its my soon to be ex compnay car that the company have made payements against

The lease compnay offer you first refusal before they put it through auction

So I owe nothing on the car and paid nothing towards it

Confirmed delivery date for mine is July 30th.

Purchase price looks like CAP+ circa 5% to me. Its a good price and I would buy it personally.
