Was good, good second time round as well. I had to explain to everyone I watched it with that he doesn't go crazy at the end again so I suppose it's better if you understand it

seen it at the cinema, thought it was good,
good acting, well developed characters, decent background.
plot was quite good although i did see the twist coming but there was enough to at least make you think
atmosphere was quite good, and the ending didnt totally suck like in most new films.
would people who dont like it care to explain a little more why, just curious?

I think the 'twist' is actually leo's final line in the movie and what it means, rather than the obvious one. (I won't mention what the obvious one is for people who haven't seen it)

yeah i agree
SPOILER
my take on that line was that he was actually sane but to be freed from the pain he was willing to be part of the lobotomy

Yeah, he didn't want to live with the pain of what happened and didn't want to live with reality. So it's either crazy fantasy work or labotomy

yeah not sure how or why some people are saying its awful, imo they either lack the intelligence to understand whats going on, or theres some other explanation for them thinking its shit

Ending confused the shit out of me at first, but i think thats why i liked it.
Anyone who says they saw the twict coming a mile off is talking shite imo.

It was fairly obvious something along those lines was going to happen and wasn't that confusing.

i suspected the general jist of the ending quite a way into the film, although how it all played out surprised me.
the ending made sense if you think the last few lines Teddy speaks, he is pretending

Watched it after 2 other films in a bit of a film marathon. Brain was going a bit numb.
All the little bits made sence after i fuigured it out.
Only bit thats not 100% in my eyes in the biggining when they come in on a boat.
Surely he would have to leave to come back on the boat :S

they sailed him out, then his memory either reset at that point, or they gave him some drugs that reset his memorys so he went from there
if you look closely at the start on the boat you can see his shackles they would have used on there way out hanging up by the door
