Thats the actual bonnet colin, the sound deadning is in the boot.

I just thought i'd give it a go and then decided that I should have went for the M3 in the first place.

Sound deadening has been taken off. Mines the same. Helps cooling. Looks better. Easier to keep clean.

A fella called Liam (youd never guess lol) from Rochdale used to own it mate. He bought it from new. Cheers for the comments. I took it a good run up north today without ragging the tits off it and seen an average of 40.6mpg. Not to shabby for a 285bhp car.

Is it Stage 2? If it is, with all the Percy mods (airbox & tophat/powerpipe etc) it should be getting close to 300bhp.

Its a perfect buy for anyone wanting a VXR because its got all the mods done.

Ben - its only stage one afaik the RR figure was made before the Percy mods were done.

Alan (I hope thats your name lol) - The Evo was a hell of a lot quicker off the mark, on the move tho it was still quicker but not by much. The torque on them both are about the same but the astra doesnt suffer the 4wd drag as you know.

How much do you want for the VXR? I think Vauxhall nailed it in terms of styling with this model and the XP Sport Hatches. There isn't anthing I don't like about them.
