Ive never had to wait on a new car but im sure its fucking annoying. What colour are you getting? My brother had one for a while, any extras on it?

i get it wednesday i went to look at it today n well i had to have it haha.. its arden blue n got plenty of extras, bluetooth cd changer tinted windows 18 v spoke alloys n few more gagets.. next thing to get is the vxmmi system for it ill post some pics up soon as

very nice mate. corsa vxr's are quite rare on the roads i feel. see plenty more astra's. could be saying something

but they are really nice, love the seats in them!

i remember waiting 16 weeks+ for my st to be delivered. worst time of my life

I loved these when they first came out to the point where i nearly got one(until i realised i couldnt afford) but then the love died off until i saw an arden bule one on the diamond cut 18's go past yesterday, it was Much nicer than the Astra VXR's, just wish they were quicker out the box.

mate has a blue one with a remus it goes no too bad for a wee car but sounds awesome on full chat and pops like fuck

Fingers crossed you`ve bought a good 1, I bought 1 new had nothing but problems clutch and flywheel broke,air con pipes cracked,air con pump/pulley shatterd to bits. Dont wish to put a downer on you as they are great fun and superb handling at stock.

A guy in my area has a standard Arctic version and gives it death everywhere, the exhaust actually pops and bangs on hard acceleration not just on overrun

very true comment i did half a tank of fuel once doin 40mile only had air filter,exhaust and dump valve

Why are they so poor on fuel, does the standard map run rich to prevent det as some kind of safety precaution?

Are they better once remapped?

they're not that bad on fuel, just when your giving it death like every other car.
It averages 34mpg driving tidy.

Compared to the Cooper 'S''s new turbo motor it dosn't sound good.

EVO mag raved about the MPG.
