Just bid on a car and didn't expect to be the highest bidder, looks like i may win this.

Its an escort 1.8 Si with no tax or mot and a rusty wheel arch. Am bidding £150 at the moment.....

Should be cheap for parts.

You'll get an unpaid item strike. Pretty much nothing to worry about at all tbh. Seller can't even leave negative anymore.

I bidded on a set of springs thinking they would fit my car,only to find out they wont.Won the auction for 99p and contacted the seller saying sorry etc and explaining what had happened.

Got a bitchy reply saying an unpaid item strike would be due.

Fair enough if you want to play it like that,i will report you for excessive delivery charges.(69.99 to get a set of springs delivered 2hrs away from his house).Its his 1st time selling an item too.
