Colin's got a course in Aberdeen on Friday.

He's booked into a hotel on Thurs. night and is keen for me to go up with him (I've never been to Aberdeen before)

I'd love to go with him, problem is he'll be away to the course ALL DAY Friday and if I go I'll be left on my ownsome all day I'm guessing we'd need to vacate our room around 100ish Friday morning. I don't fancy trailing the shops on my own all day Can anyone from around that area give me some ideas of things to do (where I wont look an utter pleb on my own) to put in the day?

Hmm ..... I can see me staying at home It would have been nice to spend the Thursday night in Aberdeen, maybe go out for a meal or to a pub for a few beers. Plus it would mean company for Colin when he's driving there and back.

might want to go keep an eye on him there's 4 or 5 lap dancing clubs in the one area!

not sure what there is to do during the day but its supposed to be a good night out, few of my mates have been.

check to see if you can have an extended check out; most of the time if you flutter your eye lashes, they'll do it free or for a nominal charge

LOL at you lot!! Shoppings my fav pastime, just dont fancy it on my own in a strange place. I'm also stressing about going for something to eat on my own !

The hotels got a Spa and swimming pool. Might check to see if I'm allowed to use it after checkout time

There isnt really much to do during the day...apart from going to the shops

The Thistle at Altens ..... I think thats what you call the place ? If there's nothing else to do, I'll prob just go to the shops. I just think it'll be a long day on my own ......
