Tickets are on general sale

Usually Premier League games are only ever season ticket and membership ballot only affairs... they had 4,000 season tickets on general sale recently too - no waiting list...

Would still expect them to be totally sold out like they normally are for every other PL game

I was just wondering if this was start of people boycotting or not. There always used to be a long waiting list to get a season ticket too

You can bet 90% of people on that waiting list can never afford it and are actually dreaming.

Aye, by the time you factor in petrol costs, toll fee's, train or plane fares.
Getting to a Man U game can cost you a fair amount

Or United fans are just jumping ship and going to support City as they have more chance of winning a trophy this year

Same reason i dont go to the emirates very much.

Ticket £60+
Train £20+
Tube £5+
Food £10+

Easily costs £100 per time plus take sup a whole day almost. cant wait to just be a few tube stops away

You may be right about them jumping ship but not about them having more chance of winning a trophy this year!

A lot of City fans have come out of the wood work.

I can't imagine United fans actually starting to support City. It would be like me changing to support Sunderland

Yeah I'll never ever support City or any other team no matter if Man United suddenly dropped off the radar and didn't win anything.

I remember a couple of months ago there was someone on the Manchester Evening News website that claimed to be a United supporter of 20+ years but he had grown tired of the Glazers so had bought a season ticket for Eastlands instead of renewing his ticket for Old Trafford Fair enough not renewing your United ticket if you aren't happy with the way things are being run but you dont go off to support the rivals! He got quite a lot of abuse for it.

It'll be the monday night thing that has caused gen sale, they normally do end up on gen sale monday nighters against newly promoted teams

Would consider going myself but got a lot to pay for this month and a trip to watch us get beat at wembley on sunday will cost me over £100

That's why Everton have such a large fanbase in Liverpool.

2,200 short of their target doesn't seem a lot when you consider they still sold 51,800. Cant be that many people protesting by not buying tickets after all
