finally got round to fitting the front brakes, after the discs that came with it were the wrong ones.
Took some pics while i visited it
nice Si chrome bages

wicked spoiler (boot not shut properly btw)

supportive seats

Racing car white dials

the bad bit = rusty arch

after a bash with hammer and chisel

^^^got the new arch to weld in, and also found out the rear brakes are buggered too, so got new cylinders, and shoes to fit soon, then can mot it and start driving it.
took a couple of corrado as was bored, not cleaned for ages.

my mate has all the welding stuff so he will probably do it, i might have a try (never welded before)
escort is ideal to have a practice on, all the parts for it have been dirt cheap, £20 for discs, £19 for both rear wheel cylinders, arch £14

I have smoked side indicators you can have for £5... not the best fit though, i had to use some double sided tape to make sure they stayed in place!

i don't remember that after getting it and looking at it am sure the reg plate looks familar, like i've seen it about.
i won it on a bit randomally on ebay for £150 as i'm always looking at local cars on there as a 2nd car, its better than the fiat i had last year. Just fixing it up for mot then getting on the road to drive, i quite enjoy having a car i don't need to care about.
is it fast?

No offence or anything, but if you try to weld the arch yourself with no previous experience please put up pics or a video.
